Tribe of Trolls: Chapter 20

  Home Sick

A couple of weeks have gone by and Pacen had been improving in understanding common as well as speaking it, he had been helping around with Amatria to the village daily chores. Sitting in the middle of majority of the females of the village as he was trying to figure out how to make clothing or at least help, Amatria sat along side sewing and speaking with the women and Pacen using this to listen in and try to understand the spoken words. He constantly using what he has learned time and time again to further his progression then Amatria learning Zandali. Even with him fumbling with the clothing in hand and had got himself pinched by the needle quite a few times hearing their laughter fill the air. He looked to them all with a blink and then looked to Amatria trying to figure out what is so funny?

He had an idea what but the women found Pacen to be quite easy to be around and even for a troll he's sort of cute with trying to sew and having alot of bad luck with it. He is not cut out for this sort of tasks, so Amatria found something else that may be easier. After taking what he was trying to sew away which he even was having a difficult time to follow where to sew. But she showed him how to crochet, no tiny needles involved for his big hands. And the hook needle and other tool are large enough, showing him how to knit as a blanket was being made. He watched as she babbled on in her common, she sure does talk alot.

Probably the reason why he is picking up on the language so quickly. And so for the duration of some of the day he sat there knitting away which he found so much more easier. Even the males occasionally crochet or sew but they usually do the more manual heavy labor. The women realizing he isn't as savaged as they thought he would be and his company is enjoyable. They mostly asked questions about him and Amatria answered to what she knows but as far as anything else they would have to wait till Pacen is talking common alot better.

The men noticing this and found it amusing to how docile this one male troll can be, they found it surprising that he would even attempt to at least try as needle work tends to be more of the female area.

"If half the women there weren't already married or to young and he was a high elf I'd say he's one lucky guy to be sitting amongst that many." One male High elf joked whom had red shoulder length hair.

"Curious isn't it? He's almost like just one giant blue dog being trained." Said another.

"Enough fella's, don't be judging just yet he's much more smarter then you think." Said Renlas. The men looked over to him as he had been keeping a close enough eye on his sister and Pacen. But Pacen hasn't done anything to perk any speculations and Renlas was trusting him more.

"Sorry Renlas, it's just.....this sort of goes against all of what we know of trolls. It's just baffling is all."

Renlas shook his head. "Amatria has lived here since a baby....we have learned from her that even a troll can live peacefully and not a savage life. Pacen isn't any different...I know it's new but he hasn't been trained in anything except to learn common. For a troll, he's peaceful."

"Peaceful?" One questioned. "I don't remember any tribe being peaceful. To what I remember anyway, it's been so long."

"He's not an Amani, his skin isn't green and I noticed he has fur. And the fact he's been with us for some time and haven't you noticed how calm he is?" Renlas answered.

"Has fur?" By looking from the distance they are at they couldn't tell.

Renlas nodded. "Wasn't me...my sister squealed all about it that he has the same soft feel as her, it's very thin the layer but it's there. So whatever sort of troll he is, Amatria may be the same."

"Sounds like your sister is getting awfully close to the male? Wouldn't you say?" Did one tease with a smirk.

Renlas frowned. "She's just curious, we all know her curiosity can be a handful. And as we know he's been ship wrecked here. They'res a chance he may already have someone. I explained that to Amatria."

Seeing the bit of defensiveness from Renlas a male high elf put his hands up half way in surrender. "Hey...just saying how I see it. Anyway.....I think we had a long enough break. Let's get back to work.." A few were chuckling and headed on off to resume their work of working in the fields that they grew vegetation and fruit, other's hunted and so forth as they broke out in numbers and switched each day to get tasks done and a on going cycle to feed, care and live on in the small village. Renlas looking over to Pacen and Amatria, a slight frown as he watched all the women including Amatria laughing. Pacen looked a little confused but he just kept knitting away. Renlas soon walking away to tend to his own chores and let his sister be.

Another time Pacen taking care of Ganki as the children got curious. He sated their curiosity by letting Ganki sniff at them and they looking at Ganki, giggling and reaching with their hands to touch his scales. Pacen made sure Ganki remain gentle and usually he not having to tell Ganki to stay calm. The raptor was gentle when their isn't a reason to be riled up. It got to the point that the children were asking for a ride on Ganki's back. Pacen understanding their words though it took a few times to repeat and get across what they wanted next. At first Pacen wasn't sure given that the adults might not like it but their persistant begging eventually won over. So he got all four sitting on Ganki's back, one particular boy name Liam was sitting at the middle.

He was a little taller then the rest of the kids, maybe even a year older. But he was the loudest and spunkiest kid he has ever seen. He instructed that they hold on tight and don't wiggle around too much, they listened and Pacen slipped on the riegns on Ganki's head and soon with the riegns in hand would he walk with Ganki for the children to have a bit of a ride. Ganki was a little confused with all of this, not often he gives children rides. With a creen sound and hoot, Ganki tilted his head at Pacen while he followed. Pacen chuckled and patted his nose.

"They just are curious about you....it's just this once. And so the village can get use to you too." He spoke gently in zandali to Ganki, the children cheered and Pacen kept Ganki in view of the village and just walked around the entire place a few rounds.

"Is that creature safe enough for the kids to sit on it's back?" One of the women questioned a little worried.

"They are alright Seldria, look they are having fun." Spoke another as they heard the children laughing and cheering, of course Liam demanding to go faster but Pacen isn't pushing it being he notices eyes watching and they look a little nervous.

"What if the big beast snaps at them?" Seldria a young adult equivelant to Amatria's age, she just wanting to make sure the kids are safe. She taught the children lessons early in the morning till about afternoon are the children free from lessons.

"Ganki won't snap at them." Spoke Amatria as she was watching. "I don't see how he would, look....Pacen has him under control and he's the loveliest animal I have ever seen."

Seldria calmed and nodded to Amatria, though she couldn't see the raptor being that lovely. "Oh....I just don't want them hurt." She quietly stated.

"Hmmm....a man that's good with children, is willing to put up with mindless female babble and to have a sweet personality?" Spoken a elderly elven woman, she didn't look to old but she had some wrinkle formations, her hair very long in a single braid that went as far down to her legs and in all white color. "Their isn't enough men that holds such a quality, you just may have to snatch him up dear." She spoke toward Amatria.

Amatria blushed before a bit of a squeak, covering her mouth. "Elediiraa!" She heard the elder woman laugh. Removing her hands she then spoke out, trying to not blush. "It's not like that...brother said that he's been ship wrecked and they're may be a chance that he has someone back home. And that he is planning to leave." Which that spoken part had her pause in her words, she looked over to where Pacen is. Would he leave? For some reason she felt a little heart broken over that. She wasn't sure if she would go with him or stay here, she didn't want him to go! But she wouldn't voice it out.

Eledira smiled gently, placing a hand to Amatria's shoulder. "Rubish I say, Renlas may be looking out for you to not get to ahead of yourself. But don't take his word for it, just find out. And if he isn't...well.." She smiled more. "I wouldn't pass up such a opportunity as this, not every day a man like that falls in your lap." She motioned her walking stick to Pacen's direction before she chuckled to Amatria's cheeks becoming rosy. Amatria just stared while she let Eledira's words sink in, Eledira would head on off to go help make lunch. Leaving Amatria to her thoughts, she couldn't help but feel this pang feeling within. She not wanting him to go and she trying to figure out her own feelings. Why did it feel so fickled?

It had been going on between lessons and daily life at the village, occasionally Renlas and Kytas would offer some teachings but that was during dinner time or after. One evening Pacen was quietly sitting on the beach looking out to the sun that is setting at the horizon, Ganki was along side as he took Ganki for a evening run to stretch his legs. And finding a spot to sit as their was a lone palm tree that provided some shade he sat under it, while Ganki was busy chasing after crabs looking for a easy meal but the little critters would crawl into a hole rather quickly and so Ganki kept trying. Even dug up their holes to dig them out or dig it big enough he can stick his maw in and snag one.

Pacen having new clothing on, a pair of brown color trousers that went as far down over the knee and at his shins. And a matching top vest which is closed by two wooden carved buttons. Clothing that Amatria and the other women made for him, the back of the leather vest had a etch design of leaves that circled around and at the center the sun. He had removed the bandages which he almost forgot about being how busy he has been between lessons and getting use to how life is here. His hands completely healed and tossed the bandage wrap away and peeled off the leaves. With his knees up and feet in the sand, his eye's stared to the ocean as he thought.

He really liked it here. It was peaceful, it wasn't hectic and every moment of the day not having to watch his back. No constant orders to follow, just living the life way out here. True he felt a little antsy with just sitting around with not much to do then follow a daily routine of chores to keep things constantly flowing. But could a life like this be for him? His thoughts floated to his friends, the thought to let them know he's alright. And he finding it difficult to ever want to leave here and yet he finds he just may not belong and his thoughts drifted to Amatria. Here he is miles away from all that he knows and on a island where he finds not only elves living here but one female troll. This had to be a sure sign of something, perhaps the Loa's blessing instead of cursing this time. His thoughts reflected to Nacelia and what she had shared, she didn't have to and she did. He was much more open to interest and not feeling as shy, something about Amatria that he was sure he wanted.

But would it end up to leaving everything behind and stay here, have a chance to live without the rush. Amatria was smart, fun, a bubbly personality and sweet. An innocents about her, beautiful and their is just no other troll female he knew that is like her. He was trying to be careful and just get to know her and those on the island. And he felt very comfortable around her too, not really all that nervous. Thought over his dreams, the coloration. Lavender and orange, even blue. He did remember seeing people all around him so was this vision he saw was a glimpse of his future? He was thinking over every detail of the dream as he never had such a vision as that before unless he drank down some juju drink or so that granted visions for whatever reason. He was so deep in thought that he didn't hear Amatria calling to him as his mind kept going in thoughts of his dream.

"Paaaaacen!! Where are yoouuuu?!" Her voice echoed over the trees before she heard a screech and looking over she would see Ganki racing over to her to greet. "Hello Ganki!" Hearing the raptor make a few cackles and hoot sounds, nuzzling his snout to her with her hands petting his head. She got to really like this raptor, he is as sweet as Pacen. A little goofy but who couldn't adore such a magnificant animal? "Where did Pacen go?" She asked. Ganki lifted his head and looked over his shoulder letting out a rattled breath sound.

Looking over she would see Pacen sitting at a distance. "Oh so there he is....thank you." She kissed Ganki at the end of his snout, just at the nose where a horn sticks out above it. Walking over Ganki followed along side her, his slender tongue licking her shoulder and making her giggle. She placed a hand on the other side of his jaw bone to pet lightly with her arm under his jowls. Ganki followed on enjoying the attention. When she reached Pacen she tapped his shoulder. "Pacen?"

He flinched a little and looked over his shoulder and up at her with his brows up. "Oh....Hello Ama-tre-a.." He spoke a little more clearly in common. Amatria smiled and letting Ganki return to chasing crabs. She lowered down to sit on her knees with and smoothing out her skirt.

"Hello...I been looking all over for you....you alright?" Their is hardly a moment that she is not with Pacen but he snuck off and she didn't notice until it was close to supper time. And found him way out here.

His eyes to the ocean as he sat quietly, he always held this calm demeanor that she found herself adoring. She also a calm individual but their just days where she is just bounding with energy and excitement. And he just has this way that puts a ease to her which she couldn't explain even if she tried. "Pacen fine..." He answered after that brief pause inbetween.

"You mean I am fine or I'm fine." She corrected as he sometimes forgets but she will correct each time until she no longer needed to. She watched him just nod but no words spoken.

"Did you come out here for some time alone? I can let you be?" She wasn't sure if he wanted her around and she willing to give him space if he needed it, they have been together for a couple of weeks now.

He took a moment to digest her words, he is having a easier time to understand but they're moments where he has to think on what was said before answering. Shaking his head. "No....Ama-tre-a can stay.." He held a light smile. "Watching sun." He pointed to the horizon.

She looked over and nodded. "I see...so your watching the sun set?" Once more she saw him nod. He was oddly quiet, well he always was quiet as she did all the talking but she couldn't put her finger on it. "Are you sure you are alright?"

He finally looked to her which held a quiet stare. A smile on his features she couldn't recognize that much, their just seems to be alot more going on behind that smile. "I'm sure." His eyes returned to the sunset as he is not going to tell her his thoughts right now. He had alot to figure out and not wanting to worry her, it's not that big of a deal as he will figure it out. Hopefully. He can still feel her eyes on him, almost can feel her trying to pick at his brain. He looked to her once more. "Teach more words?" He asked, knowing she delights in lessons and may detour her from her wondering what is going on.

She smiled lightly though she would of been fine just sitting here quietly with him watching the sun set. Thinking she nodded. "Alright, we can watch the sunset as well. Umm..what were we up to?"

With his eyes on the sunset he thought before answering. "Word for...many faces."

"Many faces?" She asked puzzled.

He nodded with a grunt, looking to her. "Yes...many faces. Faces like dis.." He would frown with his brows knitting together and then sad with a drop of his ears, then happy with just a light smile upon his features. Amatria giggled out as she would get his meaning.

"Oh! The word your looking for is expressions!" She laughed delighted. Placing her hand on her mouth as she giggled.

"Ex-pres-shons." He repeated and she gave a nod.

"Or feelings....okay now look me in the eyes like we did last time. Let's just go over what I taught before. What's this?" She placed her finger on her nose.

Pacen sighed as he answered with a bored tone, he lost count how many times he has gone over this with her. "Nose.."

"Good...and this." She pointed at an ear.

"Ear or ears." He figured to beat her to the punch with that one. Heard her giggle a little and pointed to her eyes.

He looked to her eyes and with all his thinking, would he end up being caught up in them. He was quiet what seemed like an eternity for him till he blinked and shook his head hearing her speak his name. "E-eyes.." He stammered out and looked away a moment to contain his blushing. Not like he needs this going on. Letting out a quiet sigh as he heard her speak.

"Good! And this.." Index finger tapping her lips.

He would think a moment, orange eyes look to her and glance down to her mouth that she tapped. He's got that sudden urge to lean in and for the mean time he was refraining to do so. She was watching him and she wasn't sure if he had forgotten the word but his eyes, how they were looking at her in such a way she could not figure it out to what his expression held. His gaze soft and she thought on to have him repeat an old lesson just so she can see the gleam in his eyes from the setting sun. His eyes seem to come more alive, a deepen orange color. Close to a glow of hot embers. Amatria finding herself caught up in his eyes and this expression was not helping her stay focus and teach. But she did notice he wasn't answering and just staring.

"Pacen?" Her brows lifting with a questioning look in her blue gaze, she had removed her finger a while ago and this overwhelming feeling of pigmentation to her cheeks. Feeling a little awkward and uncertainty with her own feelings for her stomach felt like it had exploded into frantic fluttering butterflies. Pacen on the other hand just cannot get enough of her eyes as well that glimmered in the light. And the pigmentation to her cheeks by her blushing also added to it, his ears twitched to her calling to him. His eyes blinked to give a small shake of his head and looked to the ocean water.

"Mouth.." He finally answered with another small sigh. He got a grip on himself before doing anything. Amatria felt a slight dissappointment that she couldn't explain and yet she just could not figure out what was going on. Was he sad? Did she say or do something wrong? He was so puzzling sometimes and once again she couldn't figure this out and it bothered.

"Pacen whats wrong?" She asked with a small pleading tone, wanting him to knock it off. Since she lacked the understanding to what is obviously very new for her. And she would ponder over as he stayed silent, she came to a sudden realization that maybe he was missing someone. Maybe she reminded him? Placing her hand on his thigh to shake lightly as she spoke. "Are you missing someone where you come from? Family, a...love one?" Why did she feel a slight strain on asking such a question at the end. But it got his attention with his eyes looking back to her, he looked a bit puzzled.

He thought over her question and oddly he wasn't missing anyone when he was around Amatria, honestly he shook his head though looked back to the sun lowering more behind the horizon. "No.....'ave family...yes...'ave motha'.....Pacen 'ave friends." He quieted a moment before he spoke with a hand placed on her own thats on his thigh without to much acknowledgement of the action. "No love...just...." She actually felt a little thrilled to hear him say no love but what did he mean by that? Her gaze looking to his hand over her own, her blush deepened though his pause got her attention. Biting her lower lip while in thought.

"No love?" She questioned.

His gaze looked to her at the corner watching her. "Miss family, miss friends......but no...love. No.." His brows furrow in thought to the word that he was looking for, muttering in zandali to himself while he was thinking and finally spoke out in common. "Pacen alone..." Wait, that didn't come out right he knows he isn't alone in a sense of family or friends and he probably would start blurting that out to correct himself but he lacked the common language knowledge to do so but he tried. "Umm.....like..."

She was giggling a little to his expression and words. "Your alone? No wife?" Amatria asked keeping it simple for his understanding.

And thank the Loa for her speakng out for he started to nod and point at her. "Yes! No...wife..no mate! " That's the word he was trying to remember to speak out and it finally clicked in his brain to speak it. "Pacen not mated....not bound.." He repeated with a blink and why is she smiling like that? Amatria was wondering the same of why she felt thrilled to hear him say he is not what her brother said and having no other.

"I see.." She answered she having to look away briefly, her eyes looked to the scenery around them and composing herself from blushing anymore then she already is.  Looking back to him. "So you do miss just your mother and friends as you said?" He nodded lightly.

"Yes...but it okay....Pacen go back. Go back---" He paused as he realized what he was saying, did he really want to go back? He still felt confused in that part, he wanting to go back so he was where he belonged. But here, this island as foreign as it is with elves dwelling here and one female troll and the chances of this magnitude to find such a situation as this is from a grand number beyond his capabilities to think on to the lowest number as one, he must of done something right in his life to end up in knee deep in this and he didn't want to go. He cleared his throat as he shook his head. "Neva' mind." Looking back to the water.

Even she felt that shake of disappointment not wanting him to leave, he was the only troll here and she had so many questions and wonder to what lies out there and yet she is not sure if she would just go with him. She wanting to remain with her family and the thought to explore a vast new land with this male troll by her side didn't sound so bad and yet she did feel afraid.

"Pacen would you want to go home?" She asked with a slight hesitation not really wanting to know the answer but she felt the need to get this clarified.

He frowned looking to the sunset with just a gleam of light and darkness shrouded the area, the ocean water looking dark except for what little light reflected off the surface in the distance, many stars were out and crickets chirping in the thicket. He had to really think on that question and he just didn't know. "Want to go 'ome...and not want go." He answered.

"Like it 'ere....like joor 'ome....da' island...remind Pacen 'ome." He looked to her as he spoke on. "Amatria family...nice....village nice place. Pacen like Ama-tre-a too." He blinked realizing the end of his words there, he did like her. In a way that she's smart, very bright personality and she always made him smile. Her giggle he couldn't get enough of. She's always so intriguing and by the gods of Azeroth she can move her body in ways that just at times have a hard time for him to push it out of his mind and yet he was trying to say his liking to her as just a friend. Certainly didn't feel like he spoke it in that way for the look in her eyes brightened up even the darkest of nights.

"Really?!" She almost squealed with her smile. He was a little baffled, was that over everything he just said or just the end of his words? He wasn't sure but she certainly looked very happy. And not wanting to press it, so if this was a way for it to slide he just went with it.

"Um..yes. Pacen like it 'ere." He figured to repeat and try to keep it mutual.

She laughed delightedly and wrapped her arms around him, pulling him in for a hug which his eyes widen for just the moment in the midst of it as he was tilting forward a little awkwardly as he heard her speak out. "I'm so glad you like it here!" He was a little hesitant to hug her in return but his arms lifted to just lightly wrap around her. His brows curved with that slight uncertainty in his eyes but so long as she remain oblivious the better for him, right?

"Uhh....good...den?" He really wasn't sure what to say.

Taking a moment to look skyward before he slowly released and pulled back to look to her. She doing the same and soon both were looking to one another, nearly nose to nose. A pause between the two. She was looking to his eyes and how the gleam of sun light reflected in it, his gaze held the marvel of a sun set or a sun rise. And he was looking to her blue gaze, he has seen blue eyes before but hers just looked all the more blue and clear. In her eyes she held a smile, a brightness to it that had him at an awe. Amatria held thought that any moment the fluttering going on within was going to burst out.

"Pacen?" A questioning tone before she felt heat rise to her cheeks, a blush occurring. She felt his hand to her cheek and if she thought her heart couldn't race any further then it did she was wrong. Something else taking over her action and mind as any sense of reason just flown the coop. Unaware but she was leaning forward and so was he. Pacen just unable to hold back at such a close proximity, the two compelled with one another. Any chance of gaining a coherent thought was gone.

"Amatria? Pacen?" A voice called out.

They got as close as a bump to one anothers noses by the sudden tense and jerk motion hearing Renlas. His eyes as wide as Amatrias as they stared, like a rush his mind came right back and what is he doing!? Ears twitched as he began to pick up sound once again, hearing foot steps he pulled his hand back to place at his head and slide through his hair as he looked away. Looking toward the horizon where no light was seen anymore, blushing profusely and feeling awkward as well as foolish. Amatria on the other hand whom not only let out this small gasp sound but she arose up onto her feet to look where her brother was calling.

"We are over here brother!" She called out, though she is blushing as well and still in the midst of all those fluttering loose feelings that is not easy to shake off she having to return to her brothers calling. Glancing down to see Pacen placing a hand to his face and sighing out, she couldn't really think on what to make of it but she would see Renlas walk out of the few large ferns and other plant life that grew to step onto the sand.

"Ahh there you two are...been looking all over." He smiled as he approached the two. "Supper is just about ready...and--" He held his words looking to the two, his sister looked far to interested in what he was saying and Pacen kept his gaze toward the ocean. "Is everything alright?"

"Yes...everything is well Renlas." Amatria answered while she regained herself, walking over to him with a smile. "I found him out here with Ganki and just going over a few lessons." Turning her head she looked back to Pacen. "Supper is just about ready Pacen, shall we return?" Unsure as to why but she wanted to kick her brother in the shin for disrupting them though it wasn't on purpose.

He wasn't really hungry, he was between feeling home sick and fickled with his own emotions of the situation he is in. Thinking on what to say, he side glanced to Amatria. "Go on ahead....Pacen be dere...got to get Ganki." He thumb pointed over to the raptor rolling in the sand trying to chomp on a crab that clamped its pincher claw at the horn that's at the end of his snout. Trying to shake the little snack off so he can eat it and that crab seeing other wise to not become raptor food.

"Oh...I'll help you--" Amatria about to speak but her brother would interupt.

"You heard him Amatria...go on. Father needs your help with a remembering which spices you use. You remember the last time when he tried." He chuckled.

She made a face from the memory. "He put to much of that pikori spice!" Shaking her head before she would rush off to go make sure her father uses the right one, depending what he was making. "Don't take long Pacen, Renlas come on!" She called out.

"I'm right behind you!" Renlas called but his attention went to Pacen as he looked to the quiet troll sitting in the sand. And he wasn't rushing to get his raptor, looking to Ganki who was chomping the air. Bending his neck to use his claws to try and knock it off of his horn. Renlas took a few steps forward to stand along side Pacen and looked down to him. "Excuse the pun...but your looking more blue then your usual self there Pacen. Are you alright?"

Pacen didn't answer being his thoughts kept getting in the way, his thoughts went to his mother and just wishing for her guidance of words. Also wanting her to know he is alright, he couldn't really image Thragsul telling Reztou that he lost Pacen at sea.

Usually he would get a answer by now and even he was getting a vibe that something is wrong. "Don't speak all at once now...I didn't catch all of that?" He joked to see if that would gain Pacen's attention.

It caught Pacen's attention but the joke of it flew over his head being how he looked up to Renlas. "What?" He didn't say anything as far as he knew or did he? Renlas was shaking his head just as Pacen was slowly realizing. His hairless brows lifted. "Oh...uhh...sorreh."

He scratched the back of his neck before he got onto his feet in one swift motion and push, dusting the sand off the back of his trousers. "I'm fine.." He answered and not really wanting to talk, looking over to Ganki. He really didn't have to get the raptor, being his raptor is dead set on getting the crab. Ganki will return back when he wanted. Walking off he soon felt a hand grab his shoulder.

"Pacen...I know you only met me let alone the entire village a few weeks ago but you can talk to me if their is something that is amidst? Are we taking to long with helping you make the boat you are in need of?" Releasing his shoulder as he asked.

Pacen shook his head, glanced back to Renlas. "No....just been....long day. Not 'ungry....gonna go to bed." It was rather early to be heading to bed but he really wasn't all that hungry and he just wanted some time to his own thoughts. Knowing if he sat at the table it would be difficult to pay attention. Then everyone is going to want to know. "Night.." Is all he would say as his stride in his steps took him far ahead enough to not get grabbed, just kept on going to head to the supply hut he had been sleeping in.

Renlas watching him walk off, he had seen the two almost kiss as he was looking for them. But didn't hear much of their conversation and he could of turned away to let them have a moment of discovery but he just couldn't allow it just yet. He had to say something to draw their attention and now that he has, he just could not figure out what is going on with Pacen. Was it about Amatria? Was he looking foward to such affections. Wasn't sure and couldn't ask directly. He wondered how Pacen felt to his sister but something more seemed to bother him. Perhaps he does have someone and Amatria may remind him of this other? Maybe Pacen lost someone during the wreck of the ship. Pacen had yet to tell the tale of what happened. With such a thought he began to feel rather bad for the troll, especially for interrupting. But something seemed off about the male troll. And it's obvious that he doesn't want to talk.

Renlas won't press it but perhaps he can speak with Amatria and perhaps piece together what is wrong. Though Amatria may be upset that Pacen isn't joining them for dinner, he knew Pacen is just looking for some space. And by all means he deserves such. But would Amatria understand that? "Hmmm.." He looked back to Ganki as his war to get that crab was foiled when the crab was flung into the ocean. A chuckle from Renlas as Ganki ran about the shore line trying to find it or a new crab. Soon to walk off, Renlas would head back to the hut to have supper.
Pacen in a mix feeling home sick and growing feelings for Amatria. The story shall press on! Sorry being this took a long time to put up, been having a very busy summer!
